Predict Sea is free, has no accounts and runs no advertising network. To keep it that way we accept a small number of sponsors: marine businesses whose name appears in a clearly labelled slot. This page lists who they are and the rules they accept.

What a sponsor gets

The rules
- Always labelled. Every slot carries the word "Sponsor". There are no native placements, no sponsored forecasts and no sponsored regions.
- At most one slot per screen. Never over the chart, the timeline dock, the legend or the warning banners.
- No tracking. Sponsor slots are plain first-party files
(
sponsors.jsonand a logo hosted on this site). No third-party requests, no pixels, no click counting, no cookies. Sponsor links open in a new tab withrel="sponsored". - Deterministic, not targeted. When more than one sponsor is eligible for a slot they alternate by calendar day (UTC). Everyone sees the same sponsor on the same day; nothing about you decides what is shown.
- Light on slow links. Logos are at most 8 KB and are not loaded at all in Data Saver mode.
- Zero editorial influence. Sponsors have no say over models, data, freshness rules, warnings or wording. Forecasts, buoy observations and storm tracks come from the public agencies listed on the terms page and a sponsor cannot alter them.
- Marine-relevant only. Sailmakers, riggers, chandlers, marinas, insurers, training schools, safety equipment, communications and similar. No gambling, no financial products, no political or religious organisations.
- Fixed terms. A sponsorship runs for a stated period of at most one year and switches off automatically when it ends.
